Good morning, dear friends. You are very welcome to our Oblate Family Morning Prayer. We join Gerard Bennett of the Oblate Lourdes Pilgrimage Team for this morning’s time of prayer on Monday February 10th. Gerard is the president of the Oblate Lourdes Pilgrimage Hospitalité and we join him in front of the Grotto. Today we continue the Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes with our final day.

All those who touched him were cured

Gerard reflects: “In many ways, this is a very appropriate gospel, to read as I stand here with the shrine behind me, across the River Gave. The theme of this year’s novena is ‘Pilgrims of Hope’, and this aligns with the Jubilee theme that Pope Francis set, when he opened the Holy door in Rome to start the year. The theme serves in many ways as a daily reminder not just for these nine days, but for the entire year that we are called to journey in hope.”
