Good morning friends. We invite you to join Veronica for today’s morning prayer on Saturday of the third week of Advent, December 21st. This week, the members of the Parish of St Mary’s, Star of the Sea, Leith, will lead us in our morning reflections.

‘Why should I be honoured with a visit from the mother of my Lord?’

Veronica reflects: ‘This gospel passage reminds us of the power and input of the Holy Spirit and his continual presence throughout our lives. We have journeyed through the season of Advent, looking forward with hope and longing. And now the birth of Jesus is very near. We pray that Christmas may be a time of peace and joy. ‘
