Good morning, dear friends. You are very welcome to our Oblate Family Morning Prayer. We join Fr Dermot Mills  OMI  for this morning’s time of prayer, revisiting the morning prayer from Sunday, January 26h 2024, the 3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time. 

‘Today this Scripture has been fulfilled.’

Fr Dermot Mills reflects: “He was actually declaring his mission, his task, his work for the rest of his short life. And he takes it from the prophet Isaiah, who hundreds of years before would have spoken these words to a people who are broken, vulnerable, colonized, scattered, disillusioned, and many of them had given up on God. And he said to them, someone will come. Someone will come and give you hope. ”
