Good morning friends. We invite you to join the Estioko Family for today’s morning prayer on Tuesday of the third week of Advent, December 17th. This week, the members of the Parish of St Mary’s, Star of the Sea, Leith, will lead us in our morning reflections.

We reflect together: ‘Today’s gospel is presented differently, as it has listed down a very long list of names of the historical genealogy of Jesus. At first, we may be a little distracted by the enumeration of names and dismiss them as unimportant. Missing the original idea of why Matthew has presented it this way. Matthew wanted to show us that the line of succession of the descendants from Father Abraham to King David, and Jesus Christ, and the journey, whether good or bad…’
