August 8th: We invite you to join Fr Eduardo again this morning in our time of prayer together. Today we reflect on the gospel, which tells us of a story of healing and liberation. Today with faith, we ask that the Lord will lift us up and heal us also.

August 6th:Dear friends, we invite you to join Irene Darby, a member of the community of Cemaes Bay and Amlwch on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales. August 6th is the feast of the Transfiguration. The disciples do not want their time with Jesus to end. Like the disciples, we have work and problems to face in our daily life. Jesus asks us to listen to him and we are reminded that the Holy Spirit is always with us.

Today, we pray for the grace to be persistent in our faith and overcome our doubts, like the woman in the gospel who does not give up on pleading with the Lord to help her.

August 3rd:
Join Christine Hunt on the Isle of Anglesey for this morning’s prayer. Reflecting on today’s gospel, we hear how when Peter falters, he calls out to Jesus to save him. When we feel overwhelmed, Jesus holds out his hands to raise us up.

 
August 2nd: Join Fr Johnson in Quex Road, Kilburn again this morning for our prayer together this Sunday. In today’s gospel we hear about how Jesus feeds the multitudes – he takes what little we have to offer and transforms it.
 

August 1st: Join Fr Johnson for our morning prayer – today is the birthday of the founder of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, Saint Eugene de Mazenod. Eugene was born on this day, August 1st 1782.

July 30th: This morning we join Fr Terry of Sacred Heart Church, Quex Road for our reflection for today. “Can I not do to you what this potter does with the clay? Yes, as the clay is in the hands of the potter, so you are in mine.”

Let us look too where the word of god has not grown lasting fruit in our lives, when we are indifferent, apathetic, complacent or ungrateful for the gifts we have received. Grant us a heart that will be attentive to the needs of those we meet this day and your presence in this word. Angie works with the Kairos Community Trust, an organisation which is dedicated to helping homeless men and women with drug and alcohol problems. Angie shares some of her own personal experience, of experiencing God during her time volunteering with Oblates on pilgrimage in Lourdes. Please join in this morning’s time of prayer.

This morning we join Fr Billy Fitzpatrick in Inchicore for our morning prayer. We reflect on our relationship with God this morning, and in how God sees us in every moment. 

June 7th: Join Fr Billy Fitzpatrick OMI for our prayer this morning. This morning we remember four of our community who died recently at the height of the Corona virus. Frs. Tony Carroll, Tom Scully, John Nolan and John Murphy. Most of us in the community became infected with the virus. We are deeply indebted to all the staff who cared for us and nursed us back to health.
