Morning Prayer
Morning Prayer for February 17th With Fr Irvin Morastil OMI
Good morning everyone, and welcome to morning prayer with Fr Irvin Morastil and the youth of El Shaddai, in London.
Today marks the 197th anniversary of the approval of the Constitutions and Rules of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate.
The Gospel reading today comes from the account of Saint Mark. It is of the time when Jesus told people to take up their cross, if they wanted to follow him. The Gospel emphasises the consequences of following Christ. It’s not all sunshine, lollipops and rainbows, but a lot of sacrifice, courage and love.
Thank you for joining us for morning prayer today!
