Morning Prayer
Morning Prayer for January 24th With Patsy Thomas

Good morning, friends. We invite you to join Patsy, from Anglesey.
Today is the memorial of Saint Francis of Sales. Patsy talks about his life and what he did, including a prayer, which she reads.
The Gospel reading today is from John. In this reading, Jesus tells his disciples that they are his friends. He calls them friends, and commands them to love one another. Patsy shows a sign from her house: “Friends are the family we choose for ourselves.” We can talk to Jesus as our friend. When you are in the presence of a true friend, you feel comfortable, at ease and treasured. This morning, let us give thanks for all our friends, including those in Heaven.
Thank you for watching and praying with us today.
