Morning Prayer
Morning Prayer for Saint George’s Day 2023 With Jason O’Reilly
Good morning everyone, and welcome to morning prayer with Jason O’Reilly, from the Kairos Community Trust.
Saint George is venerated across many regions, cities and countries around the world – particularly for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. A patron of various groups and ancient trades – from shepherds to the global Scout movement – it was during Jason’s own involvement with the Scouts as a younger man where he became familiar of George and the dragon, and St. George’s flag. Jason explores St. George in great detail in today’s reflection.
Thank you for joining us in prayer today.
