Morning Prayer: Friday 15th October, Feast of Saint Teresa of Avila With Pauline in Anglesey
Good morning. We join Pauline in Anglesey for morning prayer on Friday October 15th, Feast of Saint Teresa of Avila, mystic and doctor of the church.
Today’s scripture from Saint Paul speaks about those having difficulty in prayer. Both he and St Teresa speak of having patience with ourselves.
Saint Teresa said “Prayer in my opinion is nothing else than an intimate sharing between friends; it means taking time frequently to be alone with Him who we know loves us.”
Thanks for joining us today for the Oblate Family Morning Prayer.
