Morning Prayer: Wednesday 20th October With Hester in London
Please join Hester of the Kairos Community Trust. Hester shares with us some of her faith, personal reflection and her journey of recovery from addiction with Kairos Community – and her love of working with Kairos and helping others in turn. Her friends and family have given her self-worth and self-belief.
Today’s gospel speaks about employment, and Hester give thanks for the blessing of her work, which allows her to help people.
“Happy that servant if his master’s arrival finds him at this employment. I tell you truly, he will place him over everything he owns.” – Luke 12:39-48
Kairos Community Trust are dedicated to helping homeless men and women with drug and alcohol problems, through abstinence-support hostel, rehab programmes and a network of 29 supported Move-on houses, most of which are in south London.
Thanks for joining us today for the Oblate Family Morning Prayer.
