Morning Prayer
Morning Prayer with April 17th With Angela McCullough
Good morning everyone. Today, we are re-sharing morning prayer with Angela McCullough. Angela volunteers with the Oblate pilgrimage to Lourdes with the Kairos Community Trust Group, and created New Dawn Counselling Services in London.
Today’s gospel is a conversation between Jesus and Nicodemus. It is one that provokes deep thought and pondering. Angela shares that in the Twelve Step programme (a programme of fellowship for the recovery from alcoholism and its effects) we are led to believe in a power greater than ourselves. However this can be very difficult for members. This process of coming to believe is not an easy one, but can be made simple, as Angela shares with us personally with us how this came about for her! Becoming open minded to this process allowed her to believe in a loving God who will lead us to eternal life.
Thank you for joining us in prayer today.
