Morning Prayer with the Oblate Family, August 2nd With Christine Hunt
Good morning, everyone! Today, we join Christine Hunt from Holyhead for our morning prayer together.
Today’s Gospel reading is from Matthew, and focuses on when Jesus walked on the water of the Sea of Galilee during a storm. Peter was able to walk on the water too for a moment, before becoming frightened and began to fall into the water, with Jesus saving him before he sank too deeply.
Faith has its ups and downs; it often gives way to doubt, before regaining its confidence, which we see well-illustrated in today’s reading.
Thank you for joining us this morning.
