Morning Prayer
Morning Prayer with the Oblate Family, Christ the King Sunday With Fr Tom Devereux OMI
Good morning friends, we invite you to join Fr Tom Devereux, from Kilburn parish, for our morning prayer today.
Today is the feast of Christ the King. The Gospel reading recounts the time when Jesus was on the cross with the two criminals, one of whom mocked Jesus, the other, recognising him as king, asking for forgiveness. Jesus forgave the man of his sins and confirmed that he would be with him in paradise.
Jesus, the king, wants all of us to share in his kingdom, to celebrate in the merciful joy of God’s kingdom.
Thank you for joining us for morning prayer today.
