Morning Prayer with the Oblate Family, Friday November 18th With Johnson OMI
Good morning friends, we invite you to join Johnson, from Kilburn parish, for our morning prayer today.
Today’s reading is from the Gospel according to Luke. It recounts the time when Jesus went to the temple in Jerusalem and drove out the moneychangers. Jesus recognised the value of the temple and knew that prayer should be the primary activity within it – but Jesus could see that it was no longer the priority. It is a good idea for us to regularly examine our consciences, to see if we are making sufficient space for God in our “inner temple”.
Thank you for joining us for this time of prayer – we hope you have a blessed day!
