Morning prayer with the Oblate Family: Friday October 7th

Good morning everyone, and welcome to morning prayer with Fr Alex, in Tower Hill, London.

Today is the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, which Fr Alex explains in a little more detail. The reading today is from the Acts of the Apostles, in which we hear that, after the Ascension, the followers of Jesus are praying in the Upper Room. They were frightened of the authorities who put Jesus to death, and the Holy Spirit had not yet descended upon them. Mary was with the apostles and gave them strength – and she gives us strength now.
