Morning Prayer with the Oblate Family: Sunday 4th September With Kathy Barclay
Good morning everyone, and thank you for joining us today, on Sunday 4th September, for morning prayer.
Today, we are with Kathy Barclay, from St. Mary’s Star of the Sea, in Leith. Today’s reading is from the Gospel of Luke, where Jesus gives the message that we have to be prepared to give up everything to follow him.
Jesus has high demands for us. He is telling us that we should not let anyone – including friends and family – stop us from following him. To be true disciples, we must make Jesus our number one priority; everything else is secondary.
Thank you for joining us today.
