Morning Prayer with the Oblate Family: Thursday 8th September With Fr Martin Moran OMI
Good morning, everyone! Today, we invite you to join Fr Martin Moran OMI, from St. Mary’s Star of the Sea parish, in Leith, Edinburgh, for our morning prayer.
Today’s reading is from the Gospel of Matthew. It describes how Jesus was born – Mary being pregnant, Joseph suggesting to divorce and the angel telling him not to be afraid to take Mary as his wife, as she will give birth to the Son of God.
Today is also the Feast of the Nativity of Mary. Let us be like Mary, and not be afraid of uncertainty in our lives, and open our hearts to the will of God.
Thank you for joining us this morning.
