Morning Prayer with the Oblate Family: Wednesday June 22nd With Fr Tom Devereux OMI
Good morning friends, today we join Fr Tom Devereux OMI, from the Sacred Heart parish in Kilburn, London.
In today’s Gospel, we hear about the importance of taking up our cross and following in Jesus’ footsteps. Today, on the Feast of saints Thomas More and John Fisher, we see the examples of two individuals who certainly took up their crosses, setting a good example to follow. We may not have to be martyrs for the Lord, but the small sacrifices that we do make will be noticed when we come before God at the end of our lives.
Thank you for joining us today.
