Morning Prayer with the Oblates: Saturday August 27th With Pat Hughes
Dear friends, good morning and welcome to today’s morning prayer on Saturday August 27th. We invite you to join Pat Hughes, from Birkenhead, England, for a few moments of prayer and reflection together.
Today, on the Feast of Saint Monica, our reading comes from the Gospel of Matthew, and is focused on the parable of the three servants and the gold coins, or talents. God created each of us on Earth for a purpose, with different talents which we could use to work on His behalf. We therefore need to know our talents.
When our hour has come, how will we answer the question, “How did you use your talents?”
Thank you for joining us this morning.
