Morning Prayer with the Oblates: Saturday February 20th With Rosemary Gillon
We join Rosemary in St Mary’s Star of the Sea parish in Leith Edinburgh for our morning prayer. Today’s gospel tells of how Levi, the tax collector who despised, was chosen and called by Jesus. This showed that Jesus wanted to tell us that the kingdom of God is for everyone.
Jesus said to them in reply, ‘It is not those who are well who need the doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the virtuous, but sinners to repentance.’ Luke 5:32
