Morning Prayer with the Oblates: Wednesday August 4th With Lisa and Donncha
We join Lisa and Donncha for our morning prayer. We share today’s gospel, the story of the great faith of the woman, begging Jesus to help her daughter.
The reading speaks about faith, and how the strong faith of the woman brought about healing. We think about the power of a mother’s cry to the Lord. We think of all parents who are worried about their child, no matter what age they are. We thank the Lord for all the miracles he works in our lives.
“Then Jesus said to her, “O woman, your faith is great; it shall be done for you as you wish.” And her daughter was healed at once.”
Thanks for joining us today. We hope you have a wonderful day.
