Morning Prayer with the Oblates, Wednesday June 9th, Feast of Saint Columba With Pádraigín
We join Pádraigín for our morning prayer. Today is the feast day of Saint Columcille also known as Saint Columba, a patron saint of Ireland, who founded the great abbey on the Island of Iona and is known for a being a missionary of the Good News to the people of Scotland. Our prayer today comes from a place known as the ‘Well of the Ears’, a holy site in grove of trees in the South Side of Dublin City at the foot of the Dublin Mountain on the boundary of the city of Dublin.
Saint Columba, pray for us!
Thanks for joining us this morning.
