Oblate Morning Prayer, Saturday January 23rd With Joyce Fegan

Friends, we invite you to join Joyce Fegan, a member of the Oblate Parish of St Mary’s, Star of the Sea in Leith, Edinburgh.
In today’s reading St Paul tells us makes the point that the human body is made up of many parts, working together. And so our church functions in the same way. Each of us has a part, some work to do in our community and parishes, working to give support and encouragement to each other.
“You together are Christ’s body, but each a different part of it.
Just as a human body, though it is made up of many parts, is a single unit because all these parts, though many, make one body, so it is with Christ. In the one Spirit we were all baptised, Jews as well as Greeks, slaves as well as citizens, and one Spirit was given to us all to drink.” 1 Corinthians 12:12-30
Thank you for joining us this morning.
