Oblate Morning Prayer, Sunday January 16th With Fr Frank Ryan OMI
Good morning, welcome to our morning prayer. Join Fr Frank Ryan OMI in St Joseph’s Parish, Colwyn Bay in North Wales for our prayer today, Sunday January 16th, 2nd Sunday of Ordinary Time.
Today Pope Francis has asked us to pray for peace throughout our world. He has asked that this conversation take place between generations, and a very important time for this discussion to take place – there is much violence and war in our world. We all have a duty to work for peace in our hearts and in our world.
In today’s reading, John (John 17 18-24) tells us about the whole reason of our faith and our calling as followers of Jesus.
“As you, Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. “
Thanks for joining us this morning.
