Oblate Novena for Vocations: May 21st Day 1 With St Mary’s Star of the Sea in Leith, Edinburgh
Dear friends welcome to the 2023 Novena of prayer for Oblate Vocations. We join our Oblate Parish in Leith, Edinburgh for Day One on Sunday May 21st, the Feast of our founder, Saint Eugene de Mazenod.
The first day: VOCATION: THE CALL
Jesus said: “What are you looking for… Come and see…”
We are invited to reflect upon our own vocation story – our response to Jesus’ call in our lives.
As we look to the past with gratitude, may our faith in Jesus’ call sustain us today in our vocation.
And as we look toward the future with hope, let us pray that others may desire to see the world through the eyes of the crucified Christ as Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate.
