The Oblate Family Morning Prayer Friday 22nd November 2024 With Christine in Holyhead

Good morning friends. We invite you to join Christine Hunt in St Mary’s, Holyhead for today’s morning prayer on Friday, November 22nd 2024 of the 33rd Week in Ordinary Time on the feast of Saint Cecilia
Gospel | Luke 19:45-48 ©
You have turned God’s house into a robbers’ den
Christine reflects: “Our church, in its communities and through individuals, is called to continue on that mission of counter witness. It will witness the support and admiration of some, but also the hostility and anger and perhaps even the violence of others. This is something we should not be at all surprised about, nor something we should even try to avoid. Our only concern must be always to speak the truth in love. God will take care of the rest because ultimately truth, love and justice will prevail. And God is with us to give us the courage and strength we need to do his work.”
Thank you for joining us this morning.
