The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Monday 13th January 2025 With Frankie MacDonald in Glasgow

Good morning. Welcome to our Oblate Family Morning Prayer on Monday, January 13th 2025. Today we join Frankie MacDonald in Glasgow to lead us in our time of prayer this morning.
Gospel | Luke 5:1-11
‘They left everything and followed him’
Frank reflects: ‘Saint Luke tells us that Jesus is making the apostles fishers of men. And later in the Gospels, this duty to bring people to Christ is confirmed further on the apostles. But going back a bit to the fact that today is the feast of Saint Mungo, he too was sent to bring people to God. And if you ever visit or have visited Glasgow, you will see Mungo’s presence throughout the city and maybe not realise…’
Thank you for joining us this morning.
