The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Tuesday 14th January 2025 With Frank MacDonald

Good morning. Welcome to our Oblate Family Morning Prayer on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 of the first week of ordinary time. Today we join Frankie MacDonald in Glasgow once more to lead us in our time of prayer this morning.
Gospel | Mark 1:21-28
‘Unlike the scribes, he taught them with authority’
Frank reflects: ‘It is here that Saint Mark gives us an insight into the extent of Jesus’ authority and not only his teaching, but his authority in commanding even the unclean spirits and rescuing the person who was subjected to that level of torment. Maybe as we journey through the early part of this new year and in this holy year, we can make a positive connection to the authority and ask the Lord to help us make the changes that we want to make in our lives. ‘
Thank you for joining us this morning.
