De Mazenod House, London

De Mazenod house is a new Spirituality Centre in the Tower Hill area of London. The aim of the centre is to be a focal point of Spirituality and Mission for those who live and work in the City and surrounding area. In the heart of the hustle and bustle of everyday life we welcome those who seek time for reflection and prayer or just to be quiet.  At De Mazenod House we run different types of events and retreats.  Some are for those with a faith background.  Other events are suitable for those who are searching or living a Spiritual life without religious commitment. As well as running our own programme of events, we welcome those who provide resources and programmes for other faith traditions and backgrounds.

Director’s Welcome

Dear Friends,

Welcome! I would like to offer out to you some new possibilities in the area of spiritual support as we continue to live in these confining times. Regrettably, it is not currently permissible for us to receive individuals or groups at De Mazenod House, and this reality calls us to discern new mission initiatives and to observe new ways in which to carry out our retreat ministry.

Therefore I am hoping that you will be able to join us from the comfort of your own homes as we continue our work by virtual means for the foreseeable future. I do sincerely hope that the programmes and retreats listed below will go some way in nourishing you on your ongoing spiritual journey.

I am using the ZOOM platform, which offers an interactive way for us to come together, see one another, hear one another and share in groups, large or small. If you prefer, the option to remain invisible and quiet is available at your own discretion. You will need to download the ZOOM app free of charge on your personal computer or other device in order to be included in any particular event.

To be included, please download and fill out the booking forms attached to each listing and return them to me at demazenodhouse@oblates.co.uk so that I can add you to the participant list for your desired event.

I look forward to welcoming you into my home, as I would any visitor in person to the Centre, as we all journey further along the spiritual path, and I look forward to being invited into your own homes, to help however I can with your own spiritual journeys, through these extraordinary virtual means.

Fr. Raymond Warren OMI
Director
