The Anglo-Irish Province of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, through its Mission Development Office, is supporting some of the world’s poorest communities to achieve a better future for their children. Below is a sample of the projects supported during 2015 thanks to the generosity of our donors:

- Research to inform the further development of a successful teacher in-service training programme, Maseru, Lesotho
- Nutrition programme for school children, Haiti
- Mission support programmes to ensure that Oblate missionaries can continue to work with marginalised communities in Madagascar, Paraguay and Ukraine
- Support for projects in the areas of basic healthcare, skills development for healthcare personnel, and community-based responses to healthcare needs: Zimbabwe, Malawi, South Africa
- Continuing support for healthcare and education ‘summer schools’ for children from Madagascar’s remote forest communities, who don’t have access to these basic rights
