Our parish welcomes people from over sixty-two different nationalities. It is a warm and welcoming church, open from 8am to 5pm. The Oblates have been ministering in Kilburn since 1865 and work collaboratively with religious and laity in the building of God’s Kingdom.

The parish of Tower Hill is situated in the Tower Hamlets Deanery. A late town church by Edward Welby Pugin, completed after his death by his younger brothers. The church is situated in the vicinity of the Tower of London, a place of execution of many English Martyrs, which was highly significant for the local Catholic community. Read more >

Until 1953, Bluebell was mainly a rural farming community on the edge of the City. In 1953, the area saw a new beginning, when young couples moved into Bluebell – full of hopes and dreams for the future. They had little or nothing, but they were all in it together. The Oblates came to Inchicore in 1856 and bought a farm close to the Railway Works. A small wooden church was built in which Mass was celebrated by Eugene de Mazenod in 1857. Many of the workers at the Railway Works had helped build this first church and it served the community until work began on the present church in 1876. Read more >

The Oblates of Mary Immaculate have served here in Scotland’s capital city since the parish was started in 1850s, however the Church building dates from 1860. As well as being responsible for the parish, the Oblate Community does a variety of other work and is the home of the Oblate Hall Centre. The Oblate Hall Centre offers a variety of events, Adult Faith Formation, Retreats and various other related courses.
