Day 3 Online Pilgrimage: Morning Prayer with Frankie MacDonald Sunday 19 September 2021
Thank you for joining us for our morning reflection and Day 3 of our pilgrimage.
Frankie reflects this morning about how we journey to Lourdes has changed over the years, since 138 years ago in 1883, when the Oblate Pilgrimage began. Boat, ship, train, plane. The means of travel has changed so much but the motive of travel hasn’t. We meet to honour God and ask for the intercession of Our Lady of Lourdes, for the catch up, and top help one another experience the message of Lourdes to the fullest extent, renew friendships and make new ones.

Today’s schedule:
- Join us for Sunday mass at 10am from the Grotto celebrated by Fr Leo Philomin OMI.
- Our pilgrimage candle will be lit at the Grotto in Inchicore at 12noon,
- And finally we close the day with a special online evening retreat on our theme Lourdes: Bringing us together at 7pm (if you would like to attend, please register at this link here.) This event is facilitated by Fr Ray Warren OMI, director of the DeMazenod Retreat and Spirituality Centre, London, and there will be time for sharing in small groups, discussion and reflection.
