Morning Prayer for Tuesday January 4th 2022 With Mary O’Brien
Friends, join Mary O’Brien in Dublin for our morning prayer. Mary is a member of the Oblate Lourdes Pilgrimage team.
Both readings from today’s mass focus on the love of God. The miracle of the loaves and the fish is an expression of the vastness of Gods love for each one of us. The feeding of the 5,000 speaks of the generosity of God. When God gives, he giveS abundantly.
“Taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven, and blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before the people; and he divided the two fish among them all. And all ate and were filled; and they took up twelve baskets full of broken pieces and of the fish. Those who had eaten numbered five thousand.” – Mark 6:34-44
Thank you for joining us this morning.
