Oblate Morning Prayer, Thursday January 13th With Mary Ryan in Kilburn
Hello dear friends, this morning we join Mary Ryan in The Oblate Parish of Sacred Heart, Quex Road in Kilburn for our time of prayer,
“Be clean!” At once the disease left the man, and he was clean. Then Jesus spoke sternly to him and sent him away at once, after saying to him, “Listen, don’t tell anyone about this.”
Mark 1:40-45
The man with leprosy was joyful and grateful for his cure and thus ignored Jesus plea for him to keep this great news to himself! Leprosy, a terrible disease, must have been a devastating experience for those who suffered from it. We give thanks for our doctors and medical professionals who work so hard to care for the sick.
Thank you for joining us for morning prayer.
