Morning Prayer with the Oblates, May 4th With Frankie MacDonald in Glasgow
Friends, we join Frankie MacDonald in Glasgow for today’s prayer. Frankie is a member of the Oblate Lourdes Pilgrimage Hospitalité, volunteering with the pilgrimage in Lourdes, assisting pilgrims on their journey and time in the Marian Shrine.
The apostles saw first hand the persecution taking place and must have felt real fear and isolation. In very simple terms, they began living as God wants us to live, by sharing and helping and comforting one another. While we may not be able to do what the apostle Philip did in Jesus’ name, we can do the simple and practical things that can have such a positive effect on our neighbours, and could help alleviate the paralysis of loneliness or isolation.
Thanks for praying with us today.
