Today, on the Feast Day of the Baptism of the Lord, on the one hand, we are tempted to take a break, to pause, because we’ve celebrated and feasted so much. One can even wonder, what better can come up now? Haven’t we seen everything? Haven’t we celebrated enough? But we begin with Jesus and his Baptism to realise that it is in those simple signs where the greatest of miracles happen!
