Good morning. We join Ros Appleby once again in Birkenhead, England on Monday August 26th, in the 21st Week of Ordinary Time.

Gospel | Matthew 23:13-22

Alas for you, blind guides!

Ros reflects on today’s challenging Gospel message: “Looking at ourselves as overseers is a sobering thought, but looking at how we serve our brothers and sisters in Jesus’s name is a really tough call. How often am I aware of how I should serve? How often do I ask myself why I’m doing that? Am I doing it because I should? Because he taught me to? And if I do, then I’m satisfied?”
