With the Overland Pilgrims

Good morning! Today we join the Overland Pilgrims en route to Lourdes from Nevers. The Overland Pilgrimage left London on Friday morning and has travelled to meet the main pilgrimage for the last three days, making stops to visit the Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal and the Chapel of St Bernadette, where we join them today.

‘Rejoice, so highly favoured! The Lord is with you.’

Mary reflects: ‘Of course, there is a very strong connection between Saint Bernadette and Our Lady. The theme of our pilgrimage this year is hope and Saint Bernadette. Life story gives us all hope. She was born into a very poor family in loved. She was a sickly child and largely uneducated. But she was chosen by Our Lady to be her messenger to the world. “
