The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Saturday 2nd November 2024

Good morning friends. We invite you to join Pauline Vella in Holyhead, North Wales for today’s morning prayer on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 on the 30th Week in Ordinary time. The Feast of All Souls is a day for commemoration of all the faithful departed.

For I came down from Heaven, not to do Mine own will, but the will of Him that sent Me.

Pauline reflects: “These verses emphasize Jesus’s constant protection of his disciple. He is the good Shepherd. He is the vine, the way, the truth, and the life. In his final prayer, Jesus asked the Father to guard and protect his friends. Today, Jesus affirms once again that the will of God is that he should not lose anything of what God gave him, but that he should raise them and raise them up.”
