Good morning. We invite you to join Jacil for today’s morning prayer on the fourth Sunday of Advent, December 22nd. This week, the members of the Parish of St Joseph’s, Colwyn Bay will lead us in our morning reflections.

Why should I be honoured with a visit from the mother of my Lord?

Jacil reflects: ‘ A meeting takes place between two women at either end of the age spectrum. It’s also a meeting of two babies who were to change the world and bring news of such far-reaching importance to humankind. It’s a meeting of two women who were initially shaken by the news that each was expecting a child against conventions, and the expectations of the day have become a meeting of joy and happiness that only the prospect of motherhood and a meeting of mother-to-be can bring.’
