The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Saturday 24th January 2025

Good morning, dear friends. You are very welcome to our Oblate Family Morning Prayer. We join Br Carl Peter Lanigan  for this morning’s time of prayer, revisiting the morning prayer from Saturday, January 25th 2024, the Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul and Anniversary of the Founding of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. 

‘Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel.’

Br Carl reflects: “So now I’m invited to give my own personal reflection on the importance for the significance of this feast day in the life of the Holy Church. But really, my mind is automatically orientated towards the first experience of our Holy Founder on this day. 209 years ago, the first experience of community living with his first companions and of this radical new mission that they began.”
