Good morning, dear friends. You are very welcome to our Oblate Family Morning Prayer. We join Fr Michael Brady OMI in Inchicore for this morning’s time of prayer on Wednesday of week 3 in Ordinary Time, January 29th 2025.

Gospel | Mark 4:1-20
“The parable of the sower”

Fr Michael reflects: ‘We are travelers on the road of life and we hear the parable of Jesus, which relates so well to life, the different dimensions of life, the different dimensions that we go through as people the different dangers that are also, prevalent in our lives – the danger of hearing the word maybe with joy and then forgetting about it because we give other things preoccupations. To put something in the first place is your preoccupation. What is your preoccupation for Jesus? Do you use God as in order to get riches, in order to get what you want? Or do you do you say with Mary: be you don’t have to be according to thy word, thy word, which is the fountain of life itself, which is the great manifestation of the love of the creator.
