The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Saturday 8th February 2025

Good morning, dear friends. You are very welcome to our Oblate Family Morning Prayer. We join Mary O’Brien and Kay Curran in the parish of the Mary Immaculate, Inchicore for this morning’s time of prayer on Saturday February 8th. Mary and Kay are part of the Oblate Lourdes Pilgrimage Team. Today we continue the Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes.

They were like sheep without a shepherd

Mary reflects: “What I like about this reading is the encouragement to find time to stop and reflect. Now, I know there’s more in the reading than that, but I just like the instruction to the apostles to find the place of quiet and to rest. And in a way, novenas are similar to retreats in that we are encouraged to take time out, to stop, to listen, and to reflect on what we hear. ” Thank you for joining us today.
