Good morning, dear friends. Welcome to today’s morning prayer on Thursday, 13th February, during the fifth week in Ordinary Time. Our prayer is brought to us by Christine Hunt from Holyhead on the Isle of Anglesey, Wales.
‘The dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.’ |

Christine reflects:
“It is a wonder she had the audacity and courage to seek out and address him. But she did. The woman’s faith is not mocked only by the immediacy of her response. Hearing that Jesus in the region, but also by the manner in which she came to him, falling at his feet, may have been an act of worship. Certainly, it was an act of placing herself at his mercy.”
