Good morning and welcome to today’s morning prayer on Tuesday 18th February 2025 in Week 6 of Ordinary Time. Our prayer is brought to us by Rob, a member of Kairos Community Trust in Peckham, London and is also part of the Friends of Saint Eugene group there. 

Gospel | Mark 8:14-21
‘Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and the yeast of Herod’

Rob reflects: “Well, I think that I could perhaps go about today with trying to meet people at their level, and not be self-righteous and not try to wield anything, any thoughts or judgment, or good behaviour or opinions, with too much power – I think today I can be humble and try to live as Jesus would want me to. And if I could do that with each person I meet, then I know that I’ll be able to rest my head on the pillow with a clear conscience. ”
