Lent 2020: 40 Days for the Lord Sign up to receive a short, motivational reflection from the Partners in mission Team
Lent 2020
It’s almost time for Lent again. As we prepare ourselves for the most significant time of our church year, Easter, we invite you to join in our daily reflections for Lent.
Beginning on Ash Wednesday, 26th February 2020, Lent is a season of reflection and preparation leading up to the celebration of Easter. By observing the 40 days of Lent. Christians replicate Jesus’ withdrawal into the desert.
Partners in Mission invite you to sign up to receive a daily email in Lent – a way to recall the events leading up to and including Jesus’ crucifixion.
Each morning, you will be emailed a very short reflection or aspiration to meditate on for the day, usually focusing on a theme from the readings of that day. These reflections have been carefully prepared for you by members of the Partners in Mission team to help you on your Lenten journey towards the cross, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus during the holy season of Lent.
(Subscribe for the daily email by clicking HERE.)
The daily email will include a short excerpt from Scripture, an image and an action or prayer suggestion.
We hope you enjoy these reflections and that they offer you a little bit of encouragement throughout Lent.
In conjunction with this, we will also continue to send you Br Michael’s Sunday reflections every Sunday throughout the six weeks of the Lenten season, this time with a little time for prayer and meditation at the end of each reflection.
The reflections will begin on Ash Wednesday and finish on Easter Sunday.
You can subscribe using the form below, and remember you can also unsubscribe at any time you wish. We also encourage you to extend this invitation to family, friends or anyone you think may like to be included, please share far and wide!
