Advent, a time of Hope: Daily Morning Prayer and Reflection, December 16th With Frankie MacDonald
We join Frank MacDonald who works with the Oblate Lourdes Pilgrimage for today’s Daily Morning Prayer and Reflection, December 16th.
Christmas time is a great time, especially for children. Thinking back to childhood, remember that sense of delight on receipt of even the smallest of gifts. Thinking of all the things we have received, don’t they pale into insignificance when you think of the gifts that God has for us?
‘I tell you, of all the children born of women, there is no one greater than John; yet the least in the kingdom of God is greater than he is. All the people who heard him, and the tax collectors too, acknowledged God’s plan by accepting baptism from John; but by refusing baptism from him the Pharisees and the lawyers had thwarted what God had in mind for them.’” – Luke 7:19-23
Thank you for praying with us this morning.
