Fortitude: Morning Prayer on the Gifts of the Holy Spirit

With Mary Murphy in Bluebell Parish

Mary Murphy has been a parishioner of the Oblate parish of Lady of the Wayside in. Bluebell, Dublin for 50 years and is also a member of the Legion of Mary. Today we join Mary for our morning prayer and we continue our 8 days of meditation on the gifts of the Holy Spirit with members of Bluebell parish.

The gift of the Holy Spirit for today is fortitude – we overcome our fear as followers of Jesus Christ a person with courage is willing to stand up for what is right in the sight of God, even if it means rejection or worse.
