Introducing our Sharing of HOPE Podcast

Our first guest is Archbishop Emeritus Sylvian Lavoie OMI

In 2024, the Oblate Family take on the theme ‘Ministers of Hope’. We recognise that each one of us is called to be witnesses of hope in communion. But to be missionaries of hope, we first must live it ourselves and then share it with everyone, with no exceptions. Teaching the way of hope as we walk together.

As part of this, we are sharing stories of hope from across the Province and Oblates from across the world.

Archbishop Emeritus Sylvian Lavoie OMI, who is from the OMI Lacombe Canada, is currently the Spiritual Director at the Star of the North Retreat Centre.  He shares with us the positive stories from his time in active ministry, as an Oblate MIssionary, Archbishop, and working with the indigenous people in North Central Canada.
