Morning Prayer for April 24th

Good morning everyone, and welcome to morning prayer with Mary O’Brien, of the Oblate Lourdes Pilgrimage Team.

Today’s reading comes immediately after the feeding of the 5,000, and the first few lines are full of activity and searching. The crowd is looking for Jesus, perhaps hungry again and hoping for another miracle. Or maybe they really are hungry to hear the Word of God. Mary goes into greater detail.
